Otis Benjamin Young (commonly known in professional and personal circles by the name Benjamin or Ben) has served as Chief Innovation Officer of Sworkit since February of 2019. He formerly served eight years as this Washington, DC-based company’s Chief Executive Officer, leading it to millions in revenue and a memorable appearance on the ABC television show Shark Tank. Otis Benjamin Young of Washington, DC, established Sworkit along with his business partner Gregory Coleman, building on their past successes with similar apps such as NexTrack by Nexercise.

Short for “simply work it,” Sworkit promotes physical fitness by providing individual workouts and general workout plans that users can customize to meet their specific wants and needs. Ben Young and Gregory Coleman have built the app with the versatility to combine strength training and cardiovascular exercise with yoga and stretching workouts. To date, Mr. Young and Mr. Coleman have spearheaded the download of more than 30 million Sworkit Fitness and Sworkit Kids apps.
